Many therapists have minimal, if any, training on sexual issues that clients are struggling with, and some clients may feel shame or embarrassment even bringing these issues up in therapy. About Viviana Coles, dmft, lmft-s, cst
Viviana Coles, DMFT, LMFT-S, CST, is President and Lead Psychotherapist at Texas Relationship Therapy, PLLC in Houston, and also President and Lead Instructor at the Texas Sex Therapy Institute, a Sex Therapy Certification program for mental health professionals. Dr. Coles holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX and Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Since 2003, Dr. Coles has exclusively focused on her work with couples and individuals experiencing emotional and physical intimacy issues. She has built a thriving private practice providing relationship therapy, sex therapy, and premarital counseling. When not in session, Dr. Coles enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children and traveling with family and friends.
